CHECKSURE — INDEPENDENT NEW-HOME INSPECTIONS — SERVICES

Choose the right inspection for your new home

CheckSure provides independent inspections for buyers and owners of newly built homes. The right service depends mainly on where you are in the buying or ownership journey—not simply on the age of the property.

Use the guide below to identify the likely inspection, then open the individual service page for its complete purpose, scope and access requirements. CheckSure will confirm suitability before a booking is finalised.

A New-home Snagging Inspection provides enhanced workmanship checks, additional inspection points, targeted measurements and selected indicative tests where applicable.

Typical inspection detail. A typical three-bedroom New-home Snagging Inspection may contain approximately 450 to 650 inspection steps. The actual number depends on the property, its features, accessibility and the observations made. An inspection step is not the same as a reported defect or photograph, and larger or more complex homes may involve more checks.

† Equipment-assisted checks may include thermal images of radiators or representative underfloor-heating areas, local extract-airflow readings, selected tap-flow and outside-tap pressure readings, and basic testing of developer-installed data sockets. These are indicative checks, used only where applicable, accessible and within the agreed scope.

‡ Targeted measurements may include windows and reveals, walls, ceilings, floors, masonry, external hard surfaces and service boxings. They are normally taken where visual inspection identifies a concern or the controlled method calls for measurement. Where a result falls outside the applicable controlled benchmark, the report identifies the measurement and location.
